We have an office!

Updated: Feb 5

At the end of September, Emily and Sue took on the task of setting up the office. Transforming it from the dull room it was with lifeless magnolia walls and old brown carpets, in to a clean, bright space.

The upstairs rooms of the house had previously been used as the rangers' offices so there were excess electrical wires everywhere which needed removing by our handyman, Mark. The walls were covered in thick lining paper which had to be scraped off ready to be skimmed with fresh plaster. We were really keen to make use of the original floor which needed restoring. We pulled up the carpets, rented an edging sander and began work tackling the floorboards. We decided to paint the walls white with one feature wall in our signature pink shade. We moved the desks and furniture in and got some finishing touches and of course we had to get our fluffy, little helper a matching bed for when she comes with us to work - she loves it!

More pictures to follow of the finished look...
